A Web-based HIV Prevention Curriculum for Deaf High School Students

  • Meets the cultural, linguistic, & learning needs of deaf high school students.
  • Based on results from an ASL HIV knowledge and risk behavior survey
  • Will enhance knowledge about HIV transmission, develop negotiation skills and decision making strategies for risk reduction.

HIV Confidentiality Training for New York State Service Providers

Individuals with HIV/AIDS live with stigma and are frequently the victims of discrimination. This course teaches the ways a person or an agency can inadvertently reveal a person's HIV status and the damage that can be caused by it. The course covers NYS requirements to maintain confidentiality of a person's HIV status.
